It’s been an unprecedented quarter of growth for Office for Personal Development following the release of the debut album ‘Doing. Is. Thinking.’. Having secured features in prestigious industry leading publications Electronic Sound and Blitzed Magazine, glowing appraisals across the board including Louder Than War, radio play on BBC 6 Music from Riley and Coe, Craig Charles, Chris Hawkins, continued championing by new-music guru John Kennedy at Radio X and welcoming synthpop legend Martyn Ware (Heaven 17 / Human League) to the team (watch this space), head office are now looking forward to motivating the masses at Tramlines, Truck and Y Not Festivals.

Next in the outbox is Best Days Of Our Lives. An apocalyptic, dark synthpop anthem to the paranoid protagonist desperately attempting to cling on to the last remaining morsel of optimism whilst observing the collapse of society.

Then swiftly on to the never-before heard, brand new official song of Bexhill! The first new music emanating from the Office since the recording and release of the album. This new wave jaunt features the voices of the native inhabitants of Bexhill-on-Sea, recorded on-site at Bex-Pop Studios.

And, discovered lurking somewhere deep in the back of a locked filing cabinet, the original cassette recorder demo of Best Days Of Our Lives, performed on a single acoustic guitar before being twisted with electronic fuzz and tape delay by Trevor Deeble (Director, OPD) some time before the founding of the startup, offering an intriguing insight into the early genesis of OPD.
