Do you see pain all around you?

Are you tired of feeling obliged to fight every injustice?

Do you now long for it all to be invisible to you?

The latest official OPD communiqué comes in the form of Invisible To Me / Love Me Again, released both digitally and on limited edition 7" lathe cut clear vinyl, and accompanied by an official video, by Austerity Records.

Invisible To Me sees the OPD's hyper-motivational sound take a darker turn, as searing synthesizers accompany the despairing inner-monologue of a soul losing the fight. Having spent a lifetime tormented by their conscience, seeing pain and injustice at every turn, they have been defeated and now long to be JUST LIKE YOU and asks the question 'Are happy people winning or have they already been defeated?'

The b-side hears Jenna Love, the OPD's newly recruited Goals Liaison Officer, take centre stage on what initially appears to be the sweetest of ditties, Love Me Again. Taking inspiration from 80’s minimalist French pop, its chirpy melody and wafer-thin production conceals its true identity, that of a dystopian love song sung by a deranged populist to their defecting disciples.

It's been a year of unprecedented growth for the Bexhill-on-sea startup, who conducted their very first team building event only in early 2022. In their race to secure market share, since then they have hosted a headline seminar at The Heavenly Social, motivated Truck Festival and been live session guests for John Kennedy on Radio X, having been his 'Hot One' and 'Big One’. Other stand out spikes in productivity include; recruiting support from Craig Charles and Chris Hawkins at BBC Radio 6 Music, continued investment from BBC Introducing, as well as glowing written appraisals across the board. Head office certainly has a lot to reward its employees for at the inaugural OPD Office Xmas party.
